Founder's Story

A few years ago, I was hunting with my grandpa, my dad and my brother. It started to rain. We retreated to the car to wait out the weather. My grandpa started to tell tales of his young life and mining in Alaska. I was fascinated. Then my dad said to my grandpa, “Dad, I have never heard those stories.” I thought to myself – if it had not rained today we never would have.

That’s when I started Write History™.

Established in 2005, Write History™ is a growing business located in St. Paul, Minnesota. Our interviewers travel the globe preserving the stories of individuals, families and businesses, while our editors and designers make sure you have the best book possible. We are committed to preserving family history so that families don’t have to wait for a rainy day to share their history with future generations.
